WELCOME TO CLINTON FLAG FOOTBALL!
Flag Football enables players to enjoy the sport of football without the aspect of tackling. The purpose of Clinton's flag football program is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport, and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game.
AGE DIVISIONS
Green Machine – 4 & 5-year-olds
Green Gridiron – 6 through 14 years old
SPORTS SEASONS
Spring – March through June
Fall - August through September/early October (Green Machine teams only)
COST
$185 per season. In addition to the sports fee, families are asked to fundraise, to finance an end-of-season event, including funding for a venue, food, awards, and fun for the players.
VOLUNTEER
Clinton encourages every family to volunteer one to two-hour shifts in the concession stand for a sporting event when home games are scheduled. There are additional volunteer opportunities that come up throughout the season. Athletes whose parents serve as league commissioner, head coach, or team sponsor are exempt.
REGISTRATION
Registration for Spring – Flag Football is open from January 1 through Late February.

PRACTICE AND GAMES
Clinton offers a sports complex located in Clinton, MD for all sports program practices. All practices are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at 6:15 pm.
All games will be played at multiple locations within the Prince George’s County area as determined by the League.
GEAR REQUIRED
Clinton will provide flags to be returned, and uniform jerseys and shorts for keepsake. Players are asked to supply their own football cleats, practice gear, mouthpieces, and labeled water bottles. (Soft helmets are strongly encouraged)
